Domestic Pet Rescue in Petit

On 5 September we went to the Domestic Pet Rescue in Petit to plant trees for Arbor Week. The organisation is a PRO life institution that is run by 2 women. They live on the premises and have dedicated their lives to the welfare and treatment of animals. These ladies do outreach work in the informal settlements and have recently started a small shop where they sell the goods donated by people. The money is used for maintenance of the runs as well as vet bills and food for the rescue animals in their care.
